Class Sail Development for Offshore One Design Classes

North Sails' Class Sail Development (CSD) was created to serve the most active Offshore One Designs with competitive, specialized sails and service. We offer cutting edge products from salesmen and designers who know the classes and race the boats. CSD brings that knowledge to you.

North's material development is unmatched. Using our latest, proprietary technologies in manufacture and textiles, only North Sails is capable of offering you the best sails on the market. Many of our designs and techniques trickle down from America’s Cup and Volvo races, where North dominates the field. Those speed and durability developments help all levels of our product, and are applied most in our CSD classes.

CSD also serves to provide updated tuning and trimming information and as a general resource for Offshore One Design sailors. To find out more about your particular CSD class, click the class link at the top left of this page. Each CSD class has a leader, who can be your primary resource for any kind of question big or small. The CSD class leaders can also direct you to your local class expert.

All of our CSD classes have gone through extensive upgrades for 2008. Check with your local North Sails rep or with your class leader today to find out how we can help you move toward the top of your fleet.
